Abstract
Spotted lanternfly is a non- native planthopper whose nymphs and adults feed on a wide range of host plants. In September 2023, the Tennessee Department of Agriculture confirmed detection of it in Tennessee. This article aims to provide current updates in Tennessee and how to report and manage this pest.
