Abstract

This peer-reviewed article expresses concern about the excessive presence of non-native species on campus, greenways, parks, neighborhoods, and forested areas in Knoxville. The article includes descriptions and control measures for common non-native species, including kudzu, tree-of-heaven, callery pear, Japanese stiltgrass, honeysuckles, and autumn olive.
