Abstract

Phomopsis blight is a common fungal disease caused by Diaporthe juniperivora. This disease spreads rapidly in young landscape plantings and in nursery seed production beds, where plants are often densely planted. Phomopsis blight is most severe in several species and related horticultural varieties of junipers and red cedars.
