Carefully thought out categories allow posts to be grouped and aids visitors in finding what they are looking for.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/utiawpguide.tennessee.edu\/post\/\">post<\/a>&nbsp;can use one or more categories. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Creating Categories<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>From left side navigation, click Posts and choose the &#8220;Categories&#8221; link <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"196\" height=\"288\" src=\"https:\/\/utiawpguide.tennessee.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2020\/08\/post-navigation.png\" alt=\"post navigation screen shot\" class=\"wp-image-2521\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>At this page, you are able to add new categories and what their slug will be.  If you do not add a slug name, WordPress will use the category name as the slug.
