Abstract
The spotted lanternfly, Lycorma delicatula (White) (SLF) is a planthopper (Hemiptera: Fulgoridae) whose nymphs and adults feed on many host plants. This pest has a needlelike mouthpart that it uses to suck sap from branches and twigs. This publication provides useful information on the spotted lanternfly, including distribution, hosts, life cycle and life history, as well as injury and pest status, and management.
