The video is the first installment of six sessions on best practices for fruit and vegetable producers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe want to give producers the opportunity to learn from the comfort of their own home on their own time,\u201d says Annette Wszelaki, UT Extension specialist for commercial vegetable production. \u201cProducers can take a break from the heat, tune in to Facebook Live, and take some time to learn about how to improve their operation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The next Facebook Live Field Break will air on Thursday, August 15 at noon EST and last approximately one hour. Wszelaki and Samantha Flowers, internship coordinator and Extension assistant at the East Tennessee AgResearch and Education Center Organic Crops Unit, will discuss postharvest handling tips to give crops the longest shelf-life.
